Unity Multiplayer Game: Thief

This project was a multiplayer game made using Unity as a platform for development and written in C#, Aaron was in charge of testing the games features and bugfixing, as well as creating the level  & gameplay design. This assymetric game consists has a thief that has to navigate a dark maze and steal heavy gold pieces before the guards catch them. The guards are equipped with flashlights and have to work as a team in order to tag the thief, and also have the ability to restore the damage done to the gold pieces.

This project was centered around Unity Shaders, The objective of the project was to create a scene where 4 or more shaders were present.

The biggest shader present is the water that is present on the video, which is fully modular, has a lot of functionality such as normal mapping and changing values changes the behaviour of it. It also includes foam, thanks to object intersecting detection.

This "Endless runner" type game was developed in Unity during Aaron's 2nd year at Kingston. it uses random instansiation to generate the corridor. The score updates as the character runs, and the difficulty increases as they begin runing faster.
